Gorgeous Blogger Award

My good friend Diann over at Baby Button deemed me worthy of the Gorgeous Blogger award. I am now supposed to share six things you may not know about me. This could be a challenge.

1. I am a chronic insomniac. Actually, as I write this blog entry, it is 4:27 am and I have been awake for 2 hours. I have become well acquainted, albeit reluctantly, with 3 am in the last few years.

2. I love to read!! Mostly fiction, everything from forensic mysteries to historical fiction. I always have at least one book on the go, and usually more than one.

3. I have a very short attention span. I'm not sure why this.... Oh look! A squirrel!

4. My middle name is Lee, and my mom has the same middle name. When I was a dramatic young teenager, I insisted on spelling it Leigh because I thought it looked nicer.

5. I am allergic to a lot of thing, mostly environmental. When I first had testing done at the age of 5 or 6, the doctor announced I was allergic to everything with hair, fur or feathers. My parents bought me a pet turtle to ease the blow.

6. I love photography, but despise having my photo taken. I will go out of my way to avoid this. At parties, I always look for the person with the camera and make sure I stay behind them at all times.
